I've read Hadley's other book- London Train, so I'm interested to hear there is a new one. I've also heard good things about Mr Fox!
ReplyDeleteLove the look of To Marry an English Lord and Mrs Lincoln's Dressmaker (what is it about those old-fashioned covers that appeals so?). I interviewed Peter Teryas Liu recently as well, so I'm certainly looking forward to reading his new collection!
ReplyDeleteI would like to read To Marry an English Lord, so it'd be great to hear your thoughts on it. Slap looks interesting, I can't imagine how one could fill a whole book on that subject, though.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't get any books in common. All of yours look good to me!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious to see what you think of Mr. Fox. I've only ever read one book by Helen Oyememi, White is for Witching, and I really didn't enjoy it and was not interested in reading anything else by her.
ReplyDeleteThese look pretty awesome; enjoy
ReplyDeleteLove the cover for Mr. Fox Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteAll new to me and all look very good to me!
ReplyDeleteI have had Mr Fox on my wishlist for sometime - sounds excellent. I am also hoping to receive a copy of Watering Heaven, it's book trailer is one of the coolest I have seen. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteFrank's book peeked my interest. Happy reading
ReplyDeleteMr. Fox was an incredible read. Very strange and surreal, and you might not get it at first, but stick with it and you will be happily rewarded. It' kind of absurdist, but I had a lot of fun with it.
ReplyDeleteThese are all new to me. Hope you enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteYou get the greatest books, Audra!! :) Added at least 3 of these to my WishList :) Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteOooh, a new one by Tessa Hadley. I absolutely loved The London Train, though I think I was in the minority -- so I'll be anxious to grab that one!
ReplyDeleteI was hoping for a vlog! Chickened out, huh?
ReplyDeleteOMG, I love the cover for A Slap in the Face. I want that to be hilarious.
I'm also amused by the cover for Mr. Fox.
Hope you enjoy your books!
Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker looks really good. I'm glad to see Jennifer Chiaverini branching out into something other than Elm Creek!
